I met Ian Gillan @ the Holiday Inn in Leiden when he played the Stadsgehoorzaal with his band Gillan.

I met these guys by accident when i went to Amsterdam with my wife to do some shopping and the Was Not Was tourbus pulled up at the American Hotel. I knew they would be in Holland because they were the supporting act for Dire Straits who were playing the Kuip in Rotterdam that week.

I meet Neal @ the American Hotel in Amsterdam when he was there promoting the first Hardline album.

When i met him it was unexpected so i asked him if i would be okay if i drove home and get all my Journey stuff for him to sign. He agreed and so 1,5 hour later i came back with all my Journey albums and singles. He gracefully signed everything for me.

I met Joe (and his bandmembers) at the American Hotel in Amsterdam. 

I also asked him for a guitarpick and he said he didn't have any with him. He suggested i check with his guitarroadie. I did and the nice man gave me some 10 different picks.

I met Chas on february 11th when i was in the American Hotel with Joe Satriani. Chas was in the lobby as well and we just met and when i asked him where he was from and why he was in Holland he said: "Oh just recoRding some work in Hilversum". Of course i asked him who he was recording with and he casually said "Madness"....

The next day i went back to the hotel, as we agreed upon, and he signed two Madness albums for me.
